I received an ARC of this book from Harper Collins Publishers through a Goodreads First Reads giveaway.I've never read any of Garth Nix books until now. A Confusion of Princes, I will admit in the beginning was confusing. There was a lot of technology jargon that I personally had a hard time following in the beginning of the book. After several chapters, I started enjoying the book. I find it interesting how Nix was able to describe in detail this fantasy world he created, while taking us on the journey of the character's life. I was really intrigued to see Prince Khemri evolved from a naive Prince to this great fighter. Although I think that the age group he targeted was too low, as far as the wording/language of this book, I think its a great children science fiction novel. And I am interested in reading more of his books.
