This book is about really letting go of the one you love. Wren lost her first love and she had a hard time dealing with it. So she brought him back to life. At first everything was okay, then gradually he became different. She slowly realized that he wasn't the same Danny she lost. She didn't feel the warmth of his embrace anymore or the passion that would ignite when she saw him. She couldn't take him anywhere or see him in the day time. She had to keep him as a secret. Wren had always had a problem of keeping her powers in check. She will have to learn the hard way, especially when she meets a Gabriel. She can't keep Danny lock up forever because he is remembering. I really liked the style of the writing that Garvey crafted this novel. I felt every emotion that the character portrayed. I felt that the storyline had something missing it though. I wished it would have expand more on the relationship between her and Gabriel, and more of the present than the past. I would of liked to see more of her powers. I felt that the ending of the book was rushed. Overall, I give this book 3.5 stars.
