Katy, a seventeen year old book blogger, and her mom moved from Florida to start on a new life in a small town in West Virgina. After being persuaded by her mom to go get some fresh air and meet the neighbors, Katy sets out to get some supplies, which led her to meet Daemon. Daemon is her hot next door neighbor, who she can not stand after an embarrassing first impression. Summer is coming to an end, Daemon and Katy are forced together by circumstances, which changed their lives forever.I liked this first installment of the Lux series. It was well paced and the romance wasn't your love at first sight. There was an immense build up of this relationship. There were some funny moments, a lot of heated arguments, and some romantic moments. What I was disappointed with, was the ending. I thought that their would be a better resolution between the characters. Also, I thought the mom's character was a little too freewill with her daughter. Overall, I am definitely going to read the next one, because I want to know what is to become of their relationship.
